Flights - Palma is connected very will with many of the regional airports around Europe, and the costs can be quite cheap if you are able to be flexible in your dates - there are many places to see if you have the time, or even to relax on the beach, and catch some rays. I would recommend looking on Skyscanner.com to check flights.

Hotels - the price of these can vary considerably, there are some near the venue, but also there are some good quality costal hotels on the platja de playa, or Can Pastilla. This is a quiet resort town 10mins from the airport - 15euro in taxi, or 5euro by bus A2. The venue is 20 mins by bus from here, however we will be able to provide lifts from this area to the venue. I would recommend Trivago to check hotels.

S’Escorxador is the former municipal slaughterhouse, situated in the limits of the the 19th Century urban expansion of Palma. It was designed by Majorcan architect Gaspar Bennàssar in 1905. Nowadays is a civic and commercial centre with restaurants, a cinema, a library and some multi-use spaces (where we will play our tournament). It is at a 15 minutes’ walk from Plaça Espanya, one of the neuralgic centres of Palma.

In and around S’Escorxador and in the nearby streets there are many restaurants, cafeterias and ice cream shops, particularly in Carrer Blanquerna.

A Tournament Dinner will be held on Saturday evening in a Majorcan Cuisine restaurant. Please let us know if you want to join in.

If there are players interested in, we can also hold a dinner on Friday evening, to greet players from abroad and begin criticising the organization.

There is a huge offer of hotels, apartments and hostels in Palma. The nearest hotels are:

For people preferring to stay in Platja de Palma (Cala Estància, Ca’n Pastilla, S’Arenal, etc.) we can organize a shuttle service to the venue.
